the same question is true. I was playing a game, then all of a sudden everything crashes and is ready to run. Restarting or reinstalling doesn’t help.

try the mission executable called WalkingDead101.exe and also click “Run as administrator”.
If this still doesn’t work properly, right-click the mission executable, select Properties, go to the Compatibility tab, and make sure the systems are in Compatibility Mode to run Windows 98/ME. Also check the box to disable desktop composition.

Find WalkingDeae101.exe, clickright click and select properties to go as administrator, it works for me, but whatever I have can help.

Yes, I think I solved the problem. After hours of troubleshooting here, this worked for me and my friends. I’m currently playing TWD in Win 7 64-bit compatibility mode.
1. I found the Steam app/Right clicked/Compatibility/Confirmed I have Windows Vista Compatibility installed. To change this, “regedit” did a little research and found the deleted file
and the like. I was then able to change the compatibility from Steam to Win 7. Never close the regedit file, because there was most likely a Walking Dead file in the same file. I removed it.
Steam restarted and boom. Everything is working. THANK GOD. I hope I worked with someone who was just as frustrated as me.

1st 64-bit compatibility mode. Found/right clickedand the Steam app/Compatibility/realized that my compatibility was set when trying to access Vista. To change this, “regedit” checked the found file
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindows NTCurrentVersionAppCompatFlagsLayersC:Program FilesSteamSteam.exe
and deleted. I was then able to change the compatibility from Steam to Win 7. Don’t close your regedit statement just yet because there was The Walking Dead data in that particular file. I removed it.

and deleted it. I was then able to make the Steam flip compatible with Win 7. Don’t close the regedit file just yet because there was a Walking Dead file in the same file. I removed it.

^ I believe this doesn’t work, and I also don’t think they have a compatibility tab (with Win 7, 64-bit Home Prem). I always check, of course, if I see it in the wrong place. Running as administrator does nothing.

I just installed it myself and it worked great! I also have Win 7 64 minimum salary and I was upset.
I have Windows 7 64 bit and was able to get it to work fine just by disabling desktop composition, you need mode compatibility.
I can’t say for sure that I didn’t need this if you wanted to run it as an administrator, because some settings might have been changed the first time you ran it. Unfortunately, I managed to get the program to work without using compatibility mode. Friend
Mine helped us fix it. Do it here. Right-click the mission executable, such as WalkingDead101.exe, and optionally click “Run as administrator”.
If it still doesn’t work, right click the mission executable, click Properties, click Compatibility. then enable the options in Windows 98/ME compatibility mode. Also check the permission to disable desktop composition.
