The most common way to fix this problem is to make sure the software in your plan isn’t blocking Explorer’s access to MSN.
1. Check the large bottom corner of your screen to see if your clock is visible to firewall programs next to the icon. For example, McAfee® users might see a red web page with the letter “M”. Norton® users may see a yellow circle with an embedded image. Try hovering your cursor over each character. The experts say that when you do, you will see a description telling everyone what the symbol means.
2. Right-click any software icon you find. If you see Disable or Exit, click that command line. If the word “Enabled” appears with a check mark in the main box, click it to clear it.You can also refer to the information included with your data plan software to find out how to turn it off.
3. Log in to MSN Explorer again and see if you can log in as usual.
Note. If you have read and disabled the firewall software in Two, you need to enable it again now. Right-click the Firewall Services icon again and select Enable. You can click in front of the word “Enabled” to check the box. Also see the documentation that came with your software for instructions on reactivating.

1. On the MSN Explorer welcome screen or sign-in screen, click Sign-in Options in the Company corner in the upper-right corner. If the welcome screen does not open, double-click MSN Butterfly on your company’s desktop to view it.
