Over the past week, some of our readers have received an error message about how to display the desktop icon on the taskbar. This problem can occur for many reasons. Let’s discuss this now.

Windows has another “Show Desktop” button on the prominent side of the taskbar next to the specific Start menu. This button automatically minimizes almost all open taskbar windows when users click on them to display a specific desktop behind them. So a shortcut way, Show XP on Desktop provides a quick and convenient way to get back to your desktop without having to manually unload multiple windows.
The original Show Desktop button in Windows XP is different from the Windows 10 taskbar. On newer platforms, it has been replaced with a preview button on the right side of the taskbar. With the Peek feature, you can hover over this button to see a preview of the desktop from everyone else. Pressing these buttons will minimize all windows that open automatically, such as the desktop.
However, some users prefer to display the original desktop on the Windows XP button. This button is no longer visible because its icon is lit. Users almost never see at leastAny peek button on the right side of the Windows 10 taskbar. The XPS “Show Desktop” icon is the actual taskbar and is also accessible from the start menu.

Part 1: Create A Desktop Shortcut For All Windows 10
Where is my show desktop button?
The Show Desktop button is a small square in the lower right corner of the Windows desktop. It’s literally a lot smaller than Windows 7, but clicking on each of our dividers at the end of the taskbar will all minimize the windows that are actually open, allowing you to instantly check on your Windows desktop.
Step 1: First, right-click on the Windows 10 desktop area and select New from the context menu. Select 1:

Then click on the “Important shortcut” box that appears just below and press any key on your keyboard. The shortcut is then assigned to the Ctrl+Alt key combination. To press D model, assigns the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + + alt D to the corresponding key combination. Click “Apply” and “OK” to save the unique keyboard shortcut. After that, you can press your own keyboard shortcut to display the desktop, where the keyboard shortcut is useful.
Part 2: Changing The “Show” Icon On The Desktop Shortcut
Step 1. First, right-click the “Show Desktop” button and select “Properties” from each of the context menus.
