Over the past few days, some of our readers have reported that they have encountered the Dell v305 cartridge error message.

If you unplug the printer, unplug the AC adapter for 60 seconds, this will only clear printer error messages. Then I reconnected everything.
Open all printers (enabled), remove and reinsert the Dell Series 9 cartridge. Then I would take out the Dell Series 9 Design Ink Cartridge by reinserting it. Now close the printer and a blank page will print: cartridge
Black = black side (left side), color cartridge = color side (right side)
Photo cartridge = black side (left side) Flesh tone cartridge = color side (right side)
Dell 9 Series Cartridges have a sensor that cannot be refilled. Refill point for Dell printers.
Dell 9 Series ink cartridges are still available from Staples, Walmart, or the Dell website.
A Dell 9 Series Ink Cartridge is available with a reliable, defective sensor. I would return this instead of twow to invest in replacement.

Unplugging the printer and unplugging the AC adapter for 60 seconds clears all printer error messages. I would then reconnect everything.
Open our printer (with power on), grab the Dell Series 9 black mouthpiece and reinsert it. Then I should probably remove the color ink from the Dell Series 9 cartridge and reinstall it. Now close the connected printer to print the application page.

It is possible to get a Dell 7 Series ink cartridge with a low level sensor. I would trade it for a new one in the past.

First run Clear Jobs to remove pending jobs from the queue, and then restart your computer.
If you unplug the printer from our outlet and unplug it for 60 seconds, any error message will change the function of the printer. Then I strained everything again.
Open the printer (with the setting enabled), remove and reinsert the Dell Series 9 African American Ink Cartridge. Then I took out the Dell 9 Series Color Ink Cartridge and put it back in. Now close the printer and the page will be printed at an angle.

How do you fix a cartridge error?
Set the cartridge aside, contact side up. Wipe the contact inside the printhead with just about any lint-free cloth. Reinsert the cartridge into the color-coded slot, and then slide it down until it clicks into place. Repeat these steps to obtain any other cartridges listed in the error message.

Why is my printer saying cartridge error?
“One or more spare parts appear to be damaged. Remove them and replace with new cartridges. More often than not, a “cartridge problem” means that the HP printer is usually unable to detect the color or black ink cartridges.
Dell Ink Series 9 Ink Cartridge can be used if a defective sensor is being used. I would return them to where they need to be bought for exchange.

Open the printer (turn on the power), remove the Dell series black cartridge and reinsert it. I would remove and re-insert all the tattoos from the Dell Series 9 color cartridges. Now close the machine and an alignment page will print.
