I downloaded Ubuntu 11.10 and created a bootable USB using unetbootin.
I figured that if I order F12 or F1 to run, I should have a launch menu. As soon as I press the power button, an express projection screen called “asus Gate Cloud” opens.
I’m hoping to be able to use the boot menu to boot to navigate to the USB stick and get Ubuntu to set up dual boot with Winows 7 Starter and Ubuntu 11.10.
I don’t have a lot of Asus devices to scan, but does this BIOS pop up when I click “Delete” on boot? If that doesn’t work, suggest looking up the product manual on the Asus website if no one on that forum knows the method by heart. Now
I’ve tried pressing the DEL key – it also doesn’t prevent you from seeing the BIOS/boot menu. This is the same asus express cloud display.
On all asus tablets I’ve used, Ki start menundle with the Esc key.
On every asus laptop I’ve used to date, the device’s boot menu is launched using the Esc.Express key

What is the workout menu button for asus laptops? Asus laptop start button menu varies depending on the computer model. But in general, in the Start menu, Asus takes seriously or esc F8. If you are not sure about the design style and your computer, you can decrypt two separate keys by one person.
This cloud screen literally fires the moment you press any power button, like a mini operating system that allows you to surf the internet without loading the full operating system. There is a button on the Express Cloud Test that starts the Winders computer with respect to 7 throttles. tried

I’ve found the right key for every website I’ve found, their keys on the Eee PC 1015 are usually F2 for BIOS and Esc when choosing to boot the device.
Maybe you could try holding the button down while rotating the device? Or a traditional button, when you press the button several times when you turn on the device?
I tried both holding and pressing, with ESC and with F2, and nothing worked after that. Then I thought it might be that the features that should be enabled AFTER the cloud express utility is available, if anyone decides to move from there to the OS. So I tried to clickESC and I showed that the screen looks so expensive it looks like a real DOS screen, but as soon as I release the ESC key it loads directly into Win 7 Starter.
I tried to go to the ASUS blog looking for a manual, instead I searched the entire site, including the support section, and couldn’t find where the manuals are… Maybe
there should be a button on the desktop to enable/disable Cloud Time OS. Select Disable. The ESC key then opens the boot options screen Shoe and on next boot.System
(Express Cloud operating system is a Linux operating system, but only works for viewing)
I set up 11.10 as bootdual using Win7 on my EeePC 1011PX so everything works fine.
Roger, that sounds amazing. Thanks! I can’t test it right now, but it looks like you’ve extended the solution.
I hope the enable/disable widget is still there. I found that I had to press the esc key several times during boot to select the boot option (and the F2 file for the BIOS). My Eeepc had a pretty much extra “d:” partition, I used this remote will help for Ubuntu.I left our own asus cloud partition and now I have a choice of c (but only for Win7 and Ocelot it’s in the grub boot option) my english is correct because I moved to France 10 years ago!
I know it sounds good in a way. you If you said “only win7 and ocelot in our own grub boot option” is it because this cloud OS will boot automatically while it is a “pre-OS” for win7 if the client chooses win7 grub?
Yes, to give the impression that you are from somewhere else, I must be from England. France ne personally publishes articles like Die englisch,… :p
Addendum: I may have checked on the desktop and didn’t find an option to disable the cloud file. I also searched all over the places where I could see the OS option but didn’t think to find it. If your desktop has an option, even if it’s not linked to my desktop, it must be available somewhere, right? If you know Win7, you probably know where to find it. This seems to be necessary if I want to enter the start menu.
Hello, interesting topic.
I’ve been looking for Ubuntu on the same mini netbook computer for the past few years. How many hours, but to no avail. Also, the problem for me is that I can’t get into the BIOS to change the boot order from (I’ve tried most of the keys you suggested, ok) just because. In fact, one day I was able to access it directly and was able to update the “other devices” boot order as far as I remember correctly, but after that I just can’t get it to help you with the USB for via Ubuntu iso boot.
